Simon Says Stamp and Honey Bee Stamps | STAMPtember® Collaboration

September 29, 2017

Hello everyone,  2 of my favorite stamp companies have gathered together to release a fabulous stamp set called Remarkable You with 38 individual stamps to mix and match and build your own personalized messages.

So I made this card to celebrate with them another STAMPtember® release!! Check out the Simon Says Stamp Shop incredible exclsive products are released every day.

I love Remarkable You Stamp Set because  its fonts different sizes and designs, also  the wide variety of sentiments that offer the perfect elements to be used with any image you have in your stash to create cards for  mamy different  ocasion.

This stamp set is Limited Edition designed by Honey Bee Stamps exclusively for Simon Says Stamp STAMPtember® celebration. ONLY available at Simon Says Stamp while supplies last.

For my card today I paired Remarkable You Stamp Set  + Seasonal Sweeties Stamp Set .

I used ZIG Clean Color Real Brush water-based markers and Chameleon Pencils  to color the little girl and the cat and I applied a technique called colored pencils on watercolor.  I'll be sharing more of this technique soon on my Youtube Channel here  and there I also have some videos showing how I apply colour using water-based markers so make sure to have a look and subscribe!

The background of this card ? It was extremely easy. I   splatter masking fluid and allowed to dry, then I cut a circle from masking paper and I stuck it in the area I wanted the moon.  Using Tim Holtz Blending tools I applied different shades of   Distress blue ink ( starting for the lightest at the center/ diagonal across the panel and building up the color towards the edges). I also applied Black Sooth  Distress Ink at the edges of the panel.  to finish I added white dots with a gel pen,   I stamped some stars and also hand drew a couple. I removed the masking fluid with my fingertips.

I stamped the sentiment with Simon Says stamp Black ink with the help of my Tonic-Tim Holtz Stamping Platform  and  I used dimensional to paste the girl and just glue to glue down the little cat.

This  card measures 10.5 cm x 14cm
